Newport Engagement

I’m always game to spend the day in Newport, RI. And for a sunset engagement shoot?… yes please! Newport has a special place in the hearts of Julianne and Nick. They knew immediately that they wanted their engagement photos shot here. It’s hard to pick from among the many gorgeous spots all over town, but we started our pics up at the The Breakers. If it was good enough for the Vanderbilts… We then headed down to the port to where the sun was setting over the docks. After the sun set, the moon rose, and it was the night of the full blood moon (which sounds creepy, but was just incredible to see. I stopped on the way out of town to take some shots of the surfers out riding the waves under the bright moonlight of the enormous moon.) What a perfect day…

Julianne and Nick may just possibly be the sweetest people ever. I loved spending the day with them and watching them just LOVE each other. I predict serious tears heading down the aisle here… theirs and mine!  Cant wait for their wedding at The Atlantica in Cohasset, keeping up the harbor side vibe!
